Suzy Peterfriend Ross is founder and CEO of Family Legacy Advisory Services, based in South Florida. She has spent her professional career helping family businesses and high-net-worth individuals achieve their goals for the protection and transfer of wealth in ways that make business and financial sense. She worked with banks, trust companies, and other financial institutions before establishing Family Legacy in 1986 as a boutique advisory practice serving the needs of people with significant wealth. Suzy has a special interest in working with women and with people who are in non-traditional partnerships, either business or personal.

Suzy works with people who are in relationships where the wealth of the partners is pooled for the benefit of both parties. When the assets are pooled, they are planned for as a unit, invested jointly, and leveraged so that both partners are enriched by the good results of proper financial management. These relationships could be:

A father and a daughter running a multi-generational business

Suzy was widowed at an early age, and this experience heightened her awareness to the concerns of women who are managing their own financial future and that of their children without a life partner. She offers programs that are specifically addressed to women who are single and have assumed control of their financial affairs either through choice or external circumstances.
