About Suzy
Suzy Peterfriend Ross is the founder, president, and CEO of Family Legacy, Inc. She is a speaker, consultant, and author who specializes in helping financial institutions provide services to the extremely affluent. She was an Executive Advisor to Synovus Family Asset Management and helped develop the Wealth with Responsibility retreats for Bankers Trust.
Suzy is the co-founder of the Family Advisory Council, a monthly roundtable discussion group that works with family offices, their families and advisors on issues of governance, philanthropic goals, and methods of intergenerational wealth transfer. In 2005, her Council was nominated for the Family Group of the Year at the High-Net-Worth Industry Awards sponsored by Private Asset Management (Institutional Investor News).
When working with her consulting clients, Suzy creates training programs and business development models that help organizations create their own family office departments. She has spent the last 25 years working internationally with large financial institutions, including Marsh McLennan, to help advisors understand both the needs and the type of services their ultra-affluent clients demand.
